Wildberries’ sales rocket 101% to 305 bln rbl in Oct–Dec 2021
MOSCOW, Jan 28 (PRIME) – The sales of Russian online retailer Wildberries hit their record high in October–December 2021, reached in the previous quarter, and amounted to 304.8 billion rubles, up 101% on the year, the company said on Friday in a statement.
The 2021 gross merchandise value (GMV), including refunds, spiked by 93% to 844 billion rubles.
Wildberries expects its 2021 pretax profit to stand at 18 billion rubles, which will be invested in further development of the company – construction of logistics hubs, higher servicing quality, and wider assortment.
The number of orders leaped by 146% in 2021 to 808.6 million, which peaked in December with 3.5 million orders daily.
Buyers purchased over 1 billion items of goods on Wildberries in 2021, up 81% on the year.
